How to say what you want to say
One cannot emphasize enough how much “information competition” there is in the media.
It's very important to have a game plan:
Question = Answer + 1.
Give more than just an answer. Give an answer plus your message.
Your “message” needs to have a beginning, middle and end. How do you do that? Tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, then tell them what you told them. This way, if your interview is edited, you have a fighting chance of getting your message across at least once. One main idea is all your audience can absorb, no matter how much you try to squeeze in. The “less is more” theory holds especially true in media. You can make one point superbly, two well, three weakly, and so on.
In the "Media Training Workshop" or the "Individual Coaching" you will learn the tools required to boil down your message to the most relevant points and then find several ways to get them across to your audience through use of quotes, examples and analogies. In real-estate they say the key is "location, location, location'. In media however, the key is "repetition, repetition, repetition". Through the "Media Training Workshop" or the "Individual Coaching" trainings you will discover ways to get your point across repetitively yet effectively ~ AND without sounding like a scratched record!
